19th Century Farmhouse: Gathering Spaces

Home / / 19th Century Farmhouse: Gathering Spaces

The owners of this lovely late 19th century farmhouse wanted to rejuvenate it and replace an inappropriate 20th century addition. We replaced it with an addition matching roof angles and details of the original home to create a vaulted and expansive gathering space. This open and airy room combines a new kitchen, dining room and great room. Two new porches were added on either end, one with screens to enjoy the view. We also entirely renovated the existing home with new bathrooms, bedrooms, stairs, windows, porches and trim. Builder: Len Riordan Woodworking
