Upside Down House: Bathrooms

Home / / Upside Down House: Bathrooms

This beautiful, Narragansett, Rhode Island, coastal home has spectacular water views. Because they were a few streets back from the water and up on a hill the couple realized the best views would be from the top floor. In order to maximize this, an “upside down” design was proposed where the kitchen, living room and dining rooms were all located on the third floor.

The large, open gathering space and incredible eat-in kitchen allow for entertaining and family gatherings. White washed wood, vaulted ceilings and expansive windows let gorgeous light in making it a warm and welcoming home. The beautiful, fine details throughout the home include a stunning natural stone fireplace as the focal point of the living room and an interior cable wire staircase with custom woodwork.

The exterior of the home is a gorgeous sea foam green with multi-level outdoor decks as well as a custom built outdoor shower with storage tucked nicely under the exterior staircase.
