http://childpsychiatryassociates.com/contact The Before: A Historic Home in North Kingstown, RI
The client wants to covert the existing home (shown above) into a garage and build a http://shushescorts4u.co.uk/?p=516 2-story residence detached from the back of the structure, Torzhok overlooking the water. Because this home is located in a historic district (and flood zone), the new construction will have to be approved by the Historic District Commission as well as follow flood code regulations.
Initial Design Consultation & Sketches
The process begins with an initial design consultation where we combine our design knowledge and our clients ideas to produce sketches of their soon-to-be new home.
Design Development
The sketches then make their way onto the computer so our client can see their home in 3-D! As we work with our clients, the 3-D model is refined to our clients liking as well as the Historic District’s requirements. This process of refining and tweaking takes time, but it’s to ensure the end result is what our clients always dreamed of!
Historic District Commission Requirements
The design has to be approved by the commission before moving forward with the finished design and construction documents. Seen above is a small example of what was submitted to the commission. (click images to enlarge)
Breaking Ground!
The design was approved by the Historic District Commission! We finished the architectural plans and the builder (Coughlin Brothers Construction) obtained a building permit. Take a look at that view!
Inspiration
What you love is celebrated! We incorporated our clients hopes and dreams into their new home design to make sure that the style reflects them and their new space. We always encourage our clients to cut out their favorite rooms from magazines, or share with us their pins from Pinterest or idea books from Houzz. It makes the process fun and exciting!
Construction Continues…
Coughlin Brothers Construction did a beautiful job building our clients dream home. Custom wood finishes, red cedar exterior shingles and a beautiful soapstone, wood fire Tulikivi stove!
The Finished Home
“We are so happy in our beautiful home and thank you for making our coastal dreams come true! ”
