Our clients dreamt of retiring to their cottage on Point Judith but needed one that would be comfortable to live in year round, and would welcome guests.

Responding to the community’s strict guidelines on size we designed this compact Nantucket Cape with spaces fitting together as they do on a boat. The Owner’s Suite on the first floor eases our clients desire to age in place and the rest of the first floor is open, from dining to kitchen to four season porch. Guest rooms on the second floor are enlivened and enlarged with high slanted ceilings and sunny windows in the dormers.

A little second door deck over the entry looks out to Block Island Sound.
